Life is complicated. Therapy can help.

I have extensive experience in treating patients psychodynamically with a trauma-focused lens. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Tapping (EFT) to help patients with emotion regulation, stress, emotional blockages, and trauma as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which helps individuals better cope with the effects of trauma and disturbing life events.

The first step in working together is to send me an email so we can set up a free phone consultation to discuss your treatment goals and allow me to answer any questions you may have.

I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist (LCSW) with extensive experience working with adolescents and adults coping with a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, challenging life circumstances, transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and depression.

I graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College with a master’s degree in clinical social work and a specialization in Health and Mental Health. Prior to opening my private practice, I spent six years providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in community mental health settings.

I believe psychotherapy to be a highly personal journey and therefore treat each patient as an individual. I draw from many different treatment modalities in order to help patients better understand themselves and develop skills to cope with anxiety, stress, depression, the effects of trauma, and other emotional pressures.
